For the fourth year in a row, the Cerritos College wrestling team captured the championship of the Southern California Regional Team Duals. The Falcons, who won the CCCAA State Team Dual Meet championship in 2016 over Fresno City College, will once again face the Rams for the title. It will take place on Sunday, November 24 at Cerritos. Seeded #1 for the SoCal Regionals, Cerritos received a bye in the first round and only needed to win twice to capture the title. They opened with a 50-0 win over Rio Hondo College and then secured the championship with a 43-3 win over Bakersfield College. Only seven teams competed in the Regional Tournament.
