Cerritos College Wrestling (2021): Qualified for the CCCAA State Championships at 184 pounds, but did not place… Finished in fourth place at the Southern California Regional championships and finished the season with a 12-13 record… Went 11-13 at 184 pounds and 1-0 at 197 pounds… Placed third at the Cuesta Tournament and sixth at the Fresno City Tournament… Also competed in the West Hills Tournament, Santa Ana Tournament…..

Paramount HS: Did not have a senior season due to Covid-19… Won the San Gabriel Valley League championship three seasons in a row… Placed 10th at the state championships as a senior after placing fifth at the Masters Meet and capturing the CIF Championship and 182 pounds… Posted a 25-7 record his junior season… Was a state qualifier as a sophomore after coming in eighth place at the Masters Meet and placed fifth at CIF… As a freshman, he was a CIF qualifier… Spent four seasons on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were seeing the results of his hard work and training… Aspires to be a registered nurse… Has two older brothers that wrestled at Paramount High and another wrestling there now… Hobbies include sleeping… Nicknamed “Joe”… Is the son of Manuel and Jennifer Rodriguez… Born in Bellflower, CA on November 1, 2003…..
