Cerritos College Wrestling (2021): Was defeated in both of his matches at 285 pounds… Missed most of the season due to an injury…..

Los Alamitos HS: Won the Sunset League championship at 170 pounds as a senior and was a CIF finalist and Masters Meet qualifier… Was a CIF qualifier as a junior and sophomore, while he won the league championship as a freshman… Placed fourth at the Freakshow Tournament at 170 pounds… Spent four years on the wrestling team, as well as a season on the football and volleyball teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were going undefeated in his home team’s gym all four seasons and beating the #2-seeded wrestler in the state on Senior Night… Would like to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona, Cal Baptist University or Cal State Fullerton… Aspires to be a lawyer… His father, along with both siblings were high school and college athletes… Hobbies include reading comics… Nicknamed “Mando”… Has two siblings – Rene (28) and Ocean (25)… Is the son of Rene and Annabel Sandoval… Born in Paramount, CA on August 15, 2002…..
