After posting eight shutout victories in South Coast Conference South Division play, the Cerritos College women's soccer team swept the post-season awards. Sophomore Sydney Carr (El Modena HS/UC Irvine), who posted a school-record 47 goals this season, was named the division's Offensive Player of the Year, while sophomore Brianna Yepez (Paramount HS) was named the division's Defensive Player of the Year for the second season in a row. Head coach Ruben Gonzalez was voted the division's Coach of the Year for the ninth time in his career.

Joining Carr and Yepez on the 1st Team were sophomores Deisy Rodriguez (Katella HS) and Serena Camacho (Los Osos HS/UC Irvine), along with freshmen Valeria Corrilo (Dominguez HS) and America Ontiveros (Santa Ana HS). Named to the 2nd Team were sophomores Elizabeth Mendez (Long Beach Millikan HS), Mayela Medina (Harbor Teacher Prep Academy HS) and Jennifer Lopez (Marshall Fundamental HS), along with freshman Maria Campos (Paramount HS).

In addition to her school record 47 goals, Carr also set a school record with 114 points, which also included 20 assists. Yepez, who was one of the key members of the Falcons defense that allowed a school-record low two goals all year, was also an offensive threat with a pair of goals and nine assists. Camacho, who finished second in the state with 33 goals, also led the team with 25 assists, while Corrilo established a new freshman record with 22 assists to go along with her 15 goals. Rodriguez, a two-time 1st Team selection, allowed just one goal all season and set a new record with 20 shutouts on the year.

Both Mendez and Media are two-time all-conference selections, and each scored a pair of goals from their midfielder positions. Another stalwart on the back line, Lopez joined Yepez and Ontiveros to provide Cerritos with the best defense in the state, while Campos also dropped back to provide defensive assistance during the season.
