Taking on first place El Camino College, the Cerritos College volleyball team was swept in three sets, 25-16, 25-17. 25-18 on Wednesday. The loss drops the Falcons to 8-10 overall and 5-5 in South Coast Conference play with four matches remaining. The team will now host Long Beach City College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

The Warriors (16-4, 9-1) led from start to finish and received double-digit kills from a pair of players. Cerritos relied on freshman Jasmynne Roberts (Long Beach Poly HS), who led the team with 10 kills and just one error, while freshmen Nicole Spigner (La Mirada HS) and Valerie Montoya (La Mirada HS) each accounted for five kills without an error.
