After capturing the South Coast Conference South Division championship, the Cerritos College men's soccer team is looking to add the SCC Tournament title to their resume. The Falcons (14-4-1), who defeated El Camino College, 3-1 on Tuesday in the semifinals, will take on Long Beach City College at 4:00 p.m. today, with the game to be played at El Camino College. Back on October 29, the Vikings ended the Falcons nine-match unbeaten streak (8-0-1) and run of six straight shutout wins.

"This should be a fun game," predicts head coach Benny Artiaga. "The guys had a great week of preparation and we will look to bring home the trophy."

The Falcons, who are currently #2 in Southern California (and the state) in power points, will assure themselves home field advantage throughout the Southern California Regional Playoffs, which are slated to begin Saturday, November 20. A team needs to win five post-season games to capture the CCCAA State Championship, something Cerritos has done four times under Artiaga and as recently as 2018, when they were also named the National Champions.
