Just like during th 2018 season, the coaches have voted for a contingent of players to serve as captains for this season. Head coach Dean Grosfeld, in his second year at the helm after serving 24 years as an assistant, feels that the nine players selected will represent the team on the field, in the classroom and in the community.

Grosfeld named nine sophomores to be team captains. All nine played key roles in the team's two wins to start the season. All of the players were selected by the coaching staff and Grosfeld stated that all of shown tremendous maturity and work ethic.

"These individuals have done well in the classroom and are players of character and selflessness," stated Grosfeld. "They were all picked by the coaching staff to lead our Falcons into and through the 2019 season. It's nice when your best players are players of high character."
