In their opening game at the Hartnell Tournament, the Cerritos College men's soccer team suffered a 4-1 loss to Northern California power Fresno City College. The Falcons (0-2-1) are still looking for their first win of the season and will play another game on Saturday. The team was the defending tournament champion and had won the title in two of the last three seasons.
The lone offensive output came in the 22nd minute when sophomore Kevin Meza (ASU Preparatory Academy/Northern Illinois University) got the team on the board when he chipped home a shot on a nice pass from freshman Adrian Aguilar (Banning HS).

However, the Rams had too much offense for the Cerritos defense to handle and allowed four goals in a game since a 4-2 South Coast Conference loss to Pasadena City College on November 1, 2019.

Sophomore goalkeeper Juan Pablo Camacho (Norwalk HS) suffered the loss in net and made four saves. Meza and freshman Donavan Perez (South East HS) led the offense with three shots each.
