Warren HS: Won the San Gabriel Valley League championship in the 50-yard freestyle (21.6) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:00.37) four years in a row… Placed second at the CIF Championships in the 100-yard breaststroke after coming in third place his junior season… Came in fifth place at the CIF Championships in the 50-yard freestyle while placing second his junior season… Spent four years on the swimming and water polo teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moments are when he posted his personal best times and when he placed second and third at the CIF Championships… Would like to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona… Hobbies include playing fantasy football and basketball… Has three siblings – Jessica (19), Jacquelene (15) and Jake (5)… Is the son of Gameil and Karen Hanein… Born in La Palma, CA on January 13, 1992…..
