Cerritos College Swimming (2014): Swam the 100-yard backstroke (59.70), 200-yard backstroke (2:14.97), 200-yard IM (2:12.63), 400-yard IM (4:56.98) and 500-yard freestyle (5:36.85)… Also competed in the 50-yard freestyle (24.99), 50-yard butterfly, (27.07), 50-yard backstroke (28.72), 50-yard breaststroke (33.85) and 100-yard IM (1:02.79)… Is the president of the college’s Triathlon Club…

Warren HS: Helped the swimming team advance to the CIF Championships as a senior, while they won the San Gabriel Valley League championship his sophomore and freshman years… Named 1st Team All-CIF as a junior… Voted the swimming and water polo team’s Most Improved Player three different times… Specialized in the 200-yard IM (2:14)… Also played three seasons on the soccer team and was a part of two league championship teams… Was a member of the school’s marching band for four years and helped them come in third place in competition…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted his personal best time in the 200-yard IM at the league championships, which were held at Cerritos College and competing in marching band competitions… Is working on a minor in electrical engineering… Would like to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Fullerton or San Diego State University… Aspires to be a physical therapist… Hobbies include playing the saxophone and coaching kids in soccer and swimming camps… Is the son of Herman Lucas and Edis Cruz… Born in Bellflower, CA on December 18, 1994…..
