Cerritos College Men’s Swimming (2022): Competed in the 50-yard freestyle (24.71), 100-yard freestyle (56.54), 100-yard backstroke (1:09.72) and 500-yard freestyle (6:30.15) during the season…..

Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2022): Was an Honorable Mention All-South Coast Conference selection… Played in all 36 games and started in 12 of them… Finished the year with 49 goals, 23 assists and 23 steals, while tying for the second most exclusions drawn at 28… Scored a season-high six goals against Palomar College and three goals in four other games… Had a pair of assists in five games and recorded a season-high three steals against San Diego Miramar College and San Diego Mesa College…..

Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2021): Appeared in 10 games and record four goals, four assists and four steals… Had two goals against El Camino College and posted a goal, two assists and a steal against Southwestern College…..

Montebello HS: Named 1st Team All-Almont League as a junior and was a 2nd Team pick his sophomore year… While on the swimming team, he specialized in the 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard IM and 500-yard freestyle… Was a member of the water polo and swimming teams… Coached by former Cerritos player and assistant coach Luis Flores…..

Personal: His brother Juan (37) played football at Bell Gardens High, while his brother Alejandro (32) was a member of the Falcons water polo team… Hobbies include playing video games… Has a sister – Nora (40)… Nicknamed “Rico”… Is the son of Severo and Marina Rico… Born in Bellflower, CA on September 20, 2003…..
