Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2022): Placed eighth in the 800 meters at the South Coast Conference Championships in the 1500 meters (4:24.61) and 11th in the 5000 meters (16:53.82)… Also ran the 800 meters (2:11.90) during the season…..

Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2022): Was the team’s first finisher in every meet… Was the team’s lone representative at the CCCAA State Championships and placed 84th with a clocking of 21:58.7… Took 56th place in the Southern California Championships with a time of 21:24.2 after his time of 23:39.9 earned him All-South Coast Conference honors at the championships… Finished in 86th place at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational in a time of 26:31.5, with his time of 22:15.7 put him in 57th place at the Manny Bautista Classic… Placed seventh in the Coach Downey Classic with a clocking of 22:11.8 and turned in a 54th place time of 22:19.5 at the SoCal Preview Meet… His time of 22:33.4 earned him a 25th place showing at the Fresno Invitational, while he opened the season finishing in 49th place with a time of 20:48.0 at the Redlands Invitational…..

Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2021): Came in eighth place at the Coach Downey Classic with a time of 24:06, while his time of 31:44.1 put him in 179th place at the Biola Invitational…..

Norwalk HS: While on the track and field team, he competed in the 200 meters (26.0), 400 meters (55.9), 110-meter hurdles (21.0), 300-meter hurdles (54.0), 800 meters (2:11), 1600 meters (4:55) and 3200 meters (10:39)… Was their team captain two years in a row… Named All-Suburban League in cross country as a senior… Posted a personal best time of 16:41 at the league championships during his senior season… Finished fifth at the league championships his senior season… Spent three seasons on the cross country team and four years with the track and field team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he set his personal best times in cross country at the Bell Gardens Invitational and his best track times in a dual meet against St. Paul High… Would like to transfer to either Cal State Los Angeles or Cal State Stanislaus, but is open to any school that offers a scholarship…  Aspires to be a Spanish professor… Hobbies include fixing cars and watching anime… Has two siblings – Said (16) and Stephanie (14)… Is the son of Juan and Sandra Garcia… Born in Glendale, CA on October 29, 2003….
