Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2022): Came in 61st place at the South Coast Conference Championships in a time of 29:54.3, while his time of 33.36.4 put him in 233rd place at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational… Finished in 166th place in 27:58.4 at the Manny Bautista Classic and posted a 42nd place time of 27:42.2 at the Coach Downey Classic… At the SoCal Preview Meet, he finished in 221st place with a time of 28:09.3, while his time of 29:19.0 put him in 110th place at the Fresno Invitational… Recorded a 104th place time of 27:15.0 at the Redlands Invitational…..

South Gate HS: While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 100 meters (12.1), 200 meters (25.3), 400 meters (58.0) and long jump (16’ 8”)… Finished third at the Eastern League Championships in the long jump as a senior… Posted a personal best time of 22:30 at the Pierce College Prelims as a senior on the cross country team… Spent one season on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was posting his personal best marks at the league championships… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach… Aspires to be a chiropractor… Hobbies include learning about nutrition… Has solved the Rubik’s Cube… Has five siblings – Jesus (33), Erick (32), Pedro (23), Christian (22) and Melissa (11)… Is the son of Pedro Serrano and Antonia Cardenas… Born in Lynwood, CA on July 17, 2004…..
