Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2022): Ran the second leg of the 400-meter relay team that finished sixth at the CCCAA State Championships, fifth at the Southern California Championships and third at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 100 meters (10.96) and 200 meters (22.23 during the season…..

Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2020 – Covid 19): Maintained his freshman status after the season was canceled… Competed in the 100 meters (11.96), 200 meters (22.83) and 400 meters (52.50)…..

Compton HS: Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player four years in a row and helped the team win the Moore League championship his sophomore season… Named All-CIF and all-league twice… Specialized in the 100 meters (10.69) and 200 meters (21.75)… While on the football team, he was named All-CIF 1st Team his senior and sophomore years and 2nd Team All-CIF as a junior… Was a member of the football, basketball and track and field teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he posted his personal best times in the 100 and 200 meters… Is working on minors in Communications, Child Development and Literature… Aspires to be a family therapist… Would like to transfer to UCLA, Alabama A&M or any other school that offers a scholarship… His father was on the track and field and football teams at Locke High, while his mother competed in track and field at Locke High and Grand Canyon University… Hobbies include word searches and going to church… Has completed the Rubik’s Cube… Nicknamed “Heem”… Has two siblings – Jamiya (20) and Journi (4)… Is the son of Maryetta Watkins… Born in Inglewood, CA on May 31, 2001…..
