Over the weekend, the Cerritos College men's track and field team took part in the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival and Rafer Johnson & Jackie Joyner Kersey Invitational at UCLA. The Falcons were the only community college to take part in the meets, which allowed them to improve their performances as the season progresses. Next weekend, Cerritos will competed in the Vince O'Boyle Invitational at UC Irvine.
The top event of the day came from the 4x400-meter relay team, whose time of 3:20.04 put them in second place. Accounting for one of their better times of the season included Jordan Crowdus (Cabrillo HS), Caleb Dunomes (Long Beach Poly HS), Sebastian Lopez (Downey HS) and Elijah Jones (Long Beach Jordan HS).
The Falcons had entries in 14 events at the two meets.
