Montebello HS: Named the Almont League Most Valuable Player and 1st Team All-Almont League honors in his senior year… Also earned All-Area, 2nd Team All-CIF and voted his team’s MVP after leading them to the league championship… Selected 1st Team all-league as a junior and sophomore, while they won the league title each of his four seasons… Received the team’s Sophomore of the Year Award and was a 3rd Team all-league pick as a freshman… Team won the CIF-SS Division III Championship as a freshman… Also spent four years on the swimming team…..
