Cal State Long Beach: Attended Cal State Long Beach out of high school, but did not play water polo…..

La Serna HS: Named 1st Team All-CIF and 1st Team All-Del Rio League as a senior… Helped the team win the league championship and was voted their captain… Earned 2nd Team All-CIF and 1st Team all-league recognition as a junior and 3rd Team All-CIF his sophomore season… Team named him their Most Improved Player as a sophomore and freshman… Also a member of the swimming team and specialized in the 100-yard butterfly (56.0) and swam the freestyle leg of the 400-yard medley relay…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored the game-winning goal in a CIF Playoff game against Bonita High with a torn labrum… Would like to transfer to either Cal State Long Beach or UCLA… Hobbies include working out… Has three siblings… Is the son of Victor and Patricia Rubio… Born in Los Angeles, CA on April 6, 1994…..
