Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2021): Came in 133rd place at the Southern California Championships in 24:09.6, while his clocking of 28:48.2 put him in 252nd place at the Highlander Invitational… At the San Diego Mesa Invitational, his time of 25:12.11 put him in 148th place and he took 14th place at the Coach Downey Classic in a time of 25:20… Finished in 184th place at the Biola Invitational in 32:24.8, while he opened the season with a 92nd place finish in 25:33.5 at the Fresno Invitational…..

Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2022): Specialized in the 800 meters (2:07.34) and 1500 meters (4:23.44), while he also ran on several relay teams…..

Carson HS: Reached the CIF Championships in cross country as a senior… Posted a personal best time of 20:00… While on the track and field team, he advanced to the Marine League Finals as a senior and the CIF Finals his sophomore season… Specialized in the 800 meters (2:10) and 1600 meters (4:30) while on the track and field team…..Was a member of the cross country and track and field teams for four seasons…..

Personal: Most memorable moments was when he ran a 55.0 split time on his way to a time of 4:30 in the mile… Would like to transfer to Cal State Los Angeles and aspires to be a teacher… Hobbies include playing basketball and running… Nicknamed “Kristopher”… Has two siblings – Miles (18) and Laila (16), who both play sports… Is the son of Marcus and LaCheryl Hughes… Born in Atlanta, GA on July 26, 2002…..
