When Nancy Kelly Field started its construction in 1975, a lot of the work was done by Kelly, who was the program's first head coach, and the players to the newly formed team and program. When the field needed a little TLC, it was only fitting that members of the upcoming 2022 team step in and put a fresh coat of paint on area around the field that needed touching up.

Widely recognized as one of the best - and best-kept - community college softball facilities in the state, Nancy Kelly Field received a fresh coat of paint to the entry gate, as well as the poles in both dugouts, their storage area and poles in and around the fan seating area.

The college's facilities department gave the team their blessing to do the work and even supplied them with the paint and other supplies.

The Falcons start their non-traditional fall season on Friday, September 17 at 2:00 p.m. against Chapman College. The regular season gets underway on January 29 with a doubleheader.
