Long Beach Wilson HS: Won the Moore League championship as a senior at 171 pounds and was ranked #1 heading into the CIF Championships, where he came in first place… Voted his school’s Student-Athlete of the Year and posted a 37-8 record… Came in second place in the league championships as a junior and went 38-12… Spent two years on the wrestling team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was winning the CIF championship as a senior and having a picture of he and his dad in the Press Telegram… Would like to transfer to the University of Iowa and aspires to be either a stocks analyst or own a weapons manufacturing company… Likes to play the guitar and drums, as well as playing sports and training for MMA in his spare time… Nicknamed “Mike”… Has five siblings – Serena (24), Esmeralda (22), Gaberial (6), Hailey (2) and Nick (6 months)… Is the son of Miguel and Esmeralda Peralta… Born on October 2, 1991…..
