Cerritos HS: Posted a 40-10 record at 120 pounds as a senior and was named the 605 League Most Valuable Player… Was also a district champion, league champion, while he helped the team win the league title and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… Captured the league championship his junior year and was an all-league selection and voted the team’s MVP… Placed fourth at the CIF Championships as a senior and junior… Also won the Nogales Super Championship Tournament, while placing second at the San Clemente Tournament and Western Tournament at 120 pounds… Went 37-12 at 120 pounds that season… Voted the team’s MVP in a Covid-shortened sophomore year… Spent four years on the wrestling team…..
