Cerritos College Wrestling (2021): Went 0-2 at 285 pounds…..

Los Alamitos HS: Won the Sunset League championship at 170 pounds as a senior and was a CIF finalist and Masters Meet qualifier… Was a CIF qualifier as a junior at 160 pounds and at 152 pounds his sophomore year, while he won the league championship at 126 pounds as a freshman… Placed fourth at the Freakshow Tournament at 170 pounds… Spent four years on the wrestling team, as well as a season on the football and volleyball teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he defeated the #2-ranked wrestler… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a lawyer… Both siblings were high school and college athletes… Hobbies include playing video games… Nicknamed “Mando”… Has two siblings – Rene (18), who was his teammate last season, and Ocean (5)… Is the son of Rene and Annabel Sandoval… Born in Paramount, CA on August 15, 2002…..
