Paramount HS: Team won the San Gabriel Valley League championship his senior year and he won the league title at 170 pounds… Placed second as a junior and 160 pounds and was the league champion at 152 pounds his sophomore season… Finished in the Top 12 at the CIF Championships as a junior and sophomore… Took fourth place in the Edison Beach Bash at 152 pounds… Spent four years on the wrestling team…..
