In the first ever California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) and California Community College Sports Information Association (CCCSIA) poll, the Cerritos College women's soccer team in ranked #3 in the state. The Falcons (5-0-1), whose only blemish of the season was a 2-2 tie in the first game of the season against #1-ranked City College of San Francisco, while the team has outscored their opponents, 14-6 to start the season.

Also ranked in the Top 15 in the state from the South Coast Conferecne is Mt. San Antonio College (5-1-0), while the Falcons open SCC play next Tuesday in a 4:00 p.m. game at Los Angeles Harbor College. It will mark the seventh of 10 straight games to team will play on the road to start the season.
