Led by sophomore Catie Tuning (Los Altos HS/University of La Verne), who was named All-American and All-State, a quartet of Cerritos College women's water polo players earned post-season recognition. The Falcons (14-17), who missed the Southern California Regional Playoffs for the first time since 2006, saw Tuning and sophomore Teresa Zuniga (California HS) earn 1st Team honors, while sophomore Bianca Serrano (Cerritos HS) and freshman Catherine Borunda (El Rancho HS) were named 2nd Team.

Tuning scored 94 goals on the year, which is the third most in school history, with the record being 106 goals scored by Berlyn Sanchez in 2005. That goal total is also the ninth most in career goals, as Tuning will now go on to play her junior year at the University of LaVerne in the spring. Her 38 assists also rank as the fourth most in a season. As for Zuniga, she posted the fourth most steals in a season (82), while her 45 goals are tied for the 23rd most in a season.

Serrano was second on the team with 40 steals, while she also added 20 goals and 21 assists. In goal, Borunda posted 218 saves on the year which is the fourth most in a season in school history.
