Mayfair HS: Competed at 111 pounds in her two seasons on the wrestling team… Finished in second place at the Top Gun Tournament and sixth at the Queen of the Hill Tournament… Was also a sprinter on the track and field team for two years and spent one season on the soccer team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she placed in tournaments the second year she was on the wrestling team… Would like to transfer to any school in California and aspires to be a firefighter… Hobbies include lifting weights and playing the guitar… Nicknamed “Lyss”… Her brother Larry (24) was a two-time All-American wrestler for Cerritos and then transferred to Missouri Valley College…  Has four other siblings - Denise (18) – who will be her teammate this season - Cross (15), Phoenix (2) and Arrow (1)… Is the daughter of Larry and Nicolle Rodriguez… Born on July 14, 2002…..
