Cerritos College Water Polo (2013): Named 2nd Team All-South Coast Conference… As the team’s goalie, she played in 31 games and recorded 218 saves, while she also scored two goals, assisted on two and posted 17 steals… Her saves total is the fourth most in a season in school history… Recorded a season-high 12 saves against Chaffey College and Citrus College… Had 11 saves in three games, while posting a season-high three steals against Diablo Valley College and Orange Coast College… Scored her goals against Pasadena City College and Los Angeles Trade-Tech College…..

El Rancho HS: Named 3rd Team All-Area, 1st Team All-CIF and 1st Team All-Del Rio League as a senior after earning 2nd Team All-CIF and 1st Team all-league her junior year… Spent three seasons on the water polo and track and field teams, as well as one year on the swimming team… While on the track team, she set the school record in the discus (113’ 10”) and was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player and captain as a senior and junior… Also garnered their Most Improved Player her sophomore season…..

Personal: Aspires to be an architect, paralegal or engineer… Her sister Ann (29) played water polo at the University of Michigan and Riverside City College… Hobbies include sleeping and eating… Nicknamed “Cat” and “Cathy”… Has two other siblings – Roberta (26) and Christina (23)… Is the daughter of Robert and Catherine Borunda… Born in Whittier, CA on February 11, 1995…..
