Cerritos College Track & Field (2013): Qualified for the Southern California Prelims in the pole vault (2.27 meters) after coming in seventh place at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 400-meter IH (1:16.98) and javelin (25.95 meters) during the season…..

UC Davis & East Los Angeles College:
Attended both schools, but did not compete in track and field…..

Garfield HS:
Was a member of four straight Eastern League championship teams on track and field and three cross country teams… Earned the Spirit Award three times, received the 3.8 GPA Award and Golden Baton Award as a senior… Picked up the Coaches Award her senior season… Voted the Captain of the Year Award her junior season and received the Golden Baton Award as a sophomore… Garnered the Outstanding Athlete Award as a freshman… Cross country team won the CIF Championship her freshman season, while the team won the league title four straight seasons… Posted a personal best time of 20:50 in cross country…..

Personal:
Most memorable moments were when she won the Eastern League championship in the 300-meter IH, 800 meters, pole vault and as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team, as well as earned the Golden Baton Award… Is working on a minor in business and would like to transfer to UCLA… Her sister Lorena (32) competed on the Falcon cross country team… Hobbies include painting, going to the movies and going to the gym… Aspires to be either a tattoo artist or makeup artist… Has two other siblings – Miguel (25) and Daniel (14)… Is the daughter of Maria Rizo… Born in Los Angeles, CA on April 21, 1993…..
