Cerritos College Women’s Track & Field (2016): Ran the opening leg of the team’s 4x100-meter relay team that won the CCCAA State Championship and Southern California championship… Their time of 46.00 was also the fourth best in school history… Also ran the first leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that came in third place at the state championships and set a new school record time of 3:45.71, while they also won the Southern California championship… Competed in the 100 meters (12.99), 200 meters (26.03), 400 meters (57.74) and 800 meters (2:40.61) during the season…..

Iowa Western CC: Attended Iowa Western Community College, but did not compete in track and field…..

Long Beach Wilson HS: Posted personal best time in the 400 meters (58.19) as a senior and helped the 1600-meter relay team come in third place at the state championships… Ran a personal best split time of 56.0… Named All-CIF and All-Moore League as a senior… Spent four years on the track and field team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she turned in her best split time at the CIF Championships… Is working on a minor in liberal arts… Aspires to be a behavioral addiction therapist… Her mom ran track in high school… Hobbies include dancing… Nicknamed “Gary”… Has two siblings – Ajamu (22) and Jelani (9)… Is the daughter of Olu Hawes and Darlene Brown… Born in Long Beach, CA on April 14, 1996…..
