Cerritos College Women’s Track & Field (2016): Qualified for the Southern California Prelims in the pole vault (2.39 meters) after tying for sixth place at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 100 meters (14.03) and long jump (4.22 meters) during the season…..

El Rancho HS: Helped lead the team to the Del Rio League championship as a senior… Specialized in the high jump (5’ 6”) and pole vault (7’ 6”)… Spent just one season on the track and field team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she cleared 8’ 6¼” at the Pole Vault Summit… Would like to transfer to UCLA and aspires to be either a lawyer or teacher… Hobbies include playing the guitar… Nicknamed “Mandi”… Has one sibling – Rene (26)… Is the daughter of Rene and Corrine Salgado… Born in Bellflower, CA on March 6, 1997…..
