La Mirada HS: Earned the throwers Most Valuable Player Award as senior after recording season best distances in the discus (67’ 11) and shot put (24’11)… Also competed in the 100 meters (17.75), 400 meters (1:34.14), 100-meter HH (24.84) and 300-meter IH (1:15.51)… As a junior, she received the Spirit Award, Dedication, Desire and Determination Award… Spent three years on the track and field team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when she posted her personal best marks in adverse conditions… Would like to transfer to Brigham Young University and aspires to be a flight attendant… Has competed in eight different sports in her lifetime… Hobbies include going to Disneyland… Nicknamed “Ash”… Has three siblings – Jordan (21), Garret (19) and Sheldy (16)… Is the daughter of Gary and Susan Ward… Born in Long Beach, CA on May 24, 2001…..
