Cerritos College Cross Country (2012): Helped the team come in sixth place at the State Championships by finishing in 40th place with a time of 19:32.76 and placed 28th at the Southern California Championships with a time of 19:46.57 with the team coming in fourth place… Earned 1st Team All-South Coast Conference by coming in fourth place overall with a time of 20:39.36 with the team winning the championship… Also finished in eighth at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational with a clocking of 18:53, while her time of 19:32.2 earned her a 22nd place finish at the Grand Canyon Invitational… Posted a time of 19:42.90 to finish in 14th place at the Los Vasquez Invitational, while coming in 27th place at the Coast Classic Invitational in a time of 20:15.73… Led the team at the Palomar Invitational by coming in second place overall with a time of 20:05 and came in 88th place at the Mark Covert Invitational in 21:03.9…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2013):
Selected to run the 10,000 meters at the State Championships and finished in 11th place… Came in 15th place at the Southern California Championships in the 10,000 meters (39:45.26) after finishing in sixth place at the South Coast Conference Championships… Her personal best time in the 10,000 meters is fifth on the school’s top five list… Placed ninth in the 5000 meters (19:18.49) at the conference championships… Also competed in the 1500 meters (5:16.89) and 3000 meters (11:16.86) during the season…..

Paramount HS:
Earned the cross country team’s Most Valuable Runner three seasons in a row… Garnered the Most Inspirational Award as a junior after receiving the Rookie of the Year award as a freshman… Posted a personal best time of 18:47… Spent four years on the cross country and track and field teams… Specialized in the 3200 meters (12:09)…..

Personal:
Most memorable moment was when she turned in her personal best time at the Dana Hills Invitational and when she placed 15th at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational… Would like to transfer to either UC Santa Barbara or Azusa Pacific University and aspires to be a teacher… Her father played soccer and volleyball in high school, while her mom played volleyball… Hobbies include reading… Has two siblings – Andrea (16) and Cesar (13)… Is the daughter of Cesar and Hilda Medina… Born in Bellflower, CA on August 19, 1994…..
