Western HS: Voted the cross country team’s Most Valuable Player three seasons in a row… Came in fifth place at the Empire League Championships as a senior with a time of 19:11… Earned Scholar-Athlete honors as a junior and sophomore… Spent three seasons on the cross country and volleyball teams, as well as four years on the track and field team… Named the track team’s MVP as a junior, earned Scholar Athlete of the Year as a sophomore and selected the Distance Runner of the Year her freshman year… Specialized in the 1600 meters (5:33) and 3200 meters (12:15)… While on the volleyball team, she earned 2nd Team all-league honors as a junior and was voted their Defensive Player of the Year… Helped the team advance to the CIF Semifinals after they reached the 2nd Round her sophomore season…..
