Cerritos College Cross Country (2014): Placed 110th at the CCCAA State Championships in a time of 20:31.9, while she took 71st place with a time of 20:20.5 at the Southern California Championships… Her time of 20:25.2 put her in 30th place at the South Coast Conference Championships, and came in 23th place with a time of 20:34.0 at the Brubaker Invitational… Placed 22nd at the Grand Canyon Invitational with a clocking of 22:01.2, while her time of 20:39.6 put her in 47th place at the Golden West Invitational… Earned a 105th place finish in 20:25.0 at the Southern California Preview Meet…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2015): Was a member of the CCCAA State Championship team… Qualified for the state championships in the 10,000 meters (41:09.36) and placed 12th after coming in 12th at the Southern California Championships and fifth at the South Coast Conference Championships… Qualified for the SoCal Championships in the 5000 meters (19:27.84) after placing eighth at the conference championships… Also competing in the 1500 meters (5:17.60), and 3000 meters (11:14.59)…..

Downey HS: While on the cross country team, she posted a personal best time of 18:52 as a senior and earned the Coaches Award and Captain’s Award… Helped lead the team to the San Gabriel Valley League championship as a junior and was voted the team’s Most Outstanding Runner as a sophomore… Specialized in the 1600 meters (5:38) and 3200 meters (12:10) on the track team… Spent three years on the cross country and softball teams and two seasons on the track and field team….

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she dropped 1:18 off her personal best time in the three-mile race… Would like to transfer to San Francisco State University… Her father played on the football and basketball teams in high school, while her mother was a member of the swimming and badminton teams… Hobbies include shopping… Is the daughter of Stephen and Maricela Perea… Born in Paramount, CA on March 28, 1996…..
