Cerritos College Cross Country (2014): Placed 38th at the South Coast Conference Championships in a time of 21:37.2, while she took 37th place with a time of 21:29.1 at the Brubaker Invitational… Finished with a time of 22:49.1 at the Grand Canyon Invitational to come in 32nd place, while her time of 21:09.6 put her in 62nd place at the Golden West Invitational… Won the Southern Cal Preview B Meet with a time of 20:47.6…..

Cerritos College Track & Field (2015): Was a member of the CCCAA State Championship team… Qualified for the Southern California Championships in the 3000 meter steeplechase (12:32.74) after coming in fifth place at the South Coast Conference Championships… Also competed in the 800 meters (2:28.47), 1500 meters (5:18.65) and 3000 meters (11:49.15)…..

Warren HS: Was a member of four straight San Gabriel Valley League cross country championship teams… Posted a personal best time of 19:13 as a senior… Voted the team’s Most Improved Runner as a senior and came in seventh place at the league championships… Was on the track and field team for four seasons and helped them win two league titles… Competed in the 200 meters (26.0), 400 meters (1:00.0), 800 meters (2:24), triple jump (32’ 5”) and long jump (16’ 1”)…

Personal: Is working on a minor in environmental science… Most memorable moment was her time of 19:27 at the CIF Prelims her senior year, as well as her personal best time in both cross country and her leg of the 1600-meter relay at the Laguna Beach Invitational… Would like to transfer to UCLA, UC Irvine, University of Guadalajara, UC Davis or Johns Hopkins University… Aspires to be a pediatrician or neurosurgeon… Hobbies include drawing, writing and reading… Has two siblings – Ken (13) and Virginia (8)… Is the daughter of Marcelino Baro and Lourdes Vallin de Baro… Born in Los Angeles, CA on January 28, 1996…..
