Downey HS: Qualified for the CIF Prelims as a senior and junior… Posted a personal best time of 20:13 over a three-mile course… While on the track and field team, she reached the league finals in the 1600 meters (5:50.0)… Also competed in the 3200 meters (13:20.0), triple jump (26’) and long jump (13’)… Helped the team win the San Gabriel Valley League championship as a freshman… Spent two years on the cross country team and four years with the track and field team…..
