Cerritos College Women’s Cross Country (2016): Placed 109th at the Southern California Championships with a time of 22:24.0, while her time of 20:49.0 at the South Coast Conference Championships put her in 33rd place… Posted a time of 20:57.7 at the St. Joseph’s College Invitational to come in 14th place, and came in 34th place with a time of 21:02.67 at the San Bernardino Valley Invitational… Placed 67th at the central Park Classic in a time of 22:11.7, and finished in 66th place with a clocking of 21:33.2 at the SoCal Preview Meet… Earned 85th place at the Fresno Invitational in 22:03.3 and finished the Cal Baptist Invitational in 17:26 for 64th place…..

Cerritos College Women’s Track & Field (2017): Qualified for the Southern California Prelims in the 10,000 meters (42:03.66), while she also competed in the 1500 meters (5:27.06), 3000 meters (11:58.78) and 5000 meters 20:14.82) during the season…..

Schurr HS: Helped lead the team to the Almont League championship two years in a row and was named All-CIF as a senior… Earned her team’s Most Improved award… Posted a personal best time of 21:00 over a three-mile course her junior year… While on the track and field team, she was a part of a league championship team as a senior and specialized in the 800 meters (2:40.0) and 3200 meters (6:35.0)… Also a member of the soccer team…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to any school in California and aspires to be an obstetrician… Comes from a family where they all played soccer… Hobbies include going on adventures and sleeping… Nicknamed “Kat”… Has one brother – Johnny… Is the daughter of Jose and Norma Batres… Born on April 5, 1998…..
