Warren HS: Specialized in the 800 meters (1:56.0), 1600 meters (4:16) and 3200 meters (9:17) on the track and field team… While on the cross country team, he won the San Gabriel Valley League individual championship, was selected to a 1st Team Press Telegram Dream Team, and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… Posed a personal best time of 14:35 at the CIF Prelims… Was a two-time 1st Team all-league pick and helped his team win three straight league titles… Named 2nd Team Press Telegram Dream Team as a junior… Spent four years on the track and field and cross country teams…..
