La Mirada HS: Named to the Press Telegram Dream Team as a senior, as well as 1st Team All-Suburban League and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… Averaged 15 points, eight assists and four rebounds a game… Helped the team win the CIF championship as a sophomore… Spent four years on the basketball team and one season on the football team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored 26 points in a game with eight assists and five rebounds, as well as when his team won the CIF championship his sophomore year… Would like to transfer to the University of California-Berkeley and aspires to play professionally overseas… His father played basketball at Artesia High, while his mom played basketball at Long Beach Jordan High… Hobbies include working out… Nicknamed “T-Peez”… Is the son of Rodney Payne and Teresa Daniels… Born in Long Beach, CA…..
