Cerritos College Men’s Basketball (2014-15): Appeared in 23 games and made 16 starts… Was thought to be a red-shirt, but injuries forced him into after in the sixth game of the season… Averaged 8.6 points and 2.2 rebounds a game… Finished second on the team with 29 three-pointers and shot 46% from long range and 51% (76-of-149) from the field… Scored a season-high 20 points and was 5-of-6 from three-point range against Long Beach City College… Had 14 points against Mt. San Antonio College and 12 points in four other games… Pulled down a season-high five rebounds against College of the Desert…..

Temescal Canyon HS: Selected as a Desert Valley All-Star as a senior after averaging 12.6 points a game… Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player his senior year after garnering their Offensive Player of the Year award his junior and sophomore seasons… Was a two-time 2nd Team All-Sunbelt League selection… Spent four years on the basketball team and one season on the football team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he scored 31 points in a game and followed that with a 26-point game and 20-point game in the same week… Would like to transfer to Northern Arizona University… His mother was an All-State selection with the Falcons and then transferred to Michigan State University, while his father played basketball at Cal Poly Pomona… Aspires to be a basketball coach… Hobbies include singing and playing basketball… Nicknamed “Jay”… Is the son of Tyrone Merriweather and Kate Larrabee… Has two siblings – Emma (17) and Jackson (4)… Born in Whittier, CA on September 6, 1996…..
