Nathan Berger

Joining the coaching staff for his first season is Nathan Berger. From 2013-18, Berger was an assistant coach at Los Alamitos High and helped the team compile a combined 108-41 record before being named the head coach at Long Beach Millikan High. In his first two seasons at Millikan, he has a career 34-21 record.

As a prep player at Los Alamitos High, Berger was coach by Falcons head coach Russ May in his two seasons on the varsity team. In those two seasons, the team won the Sunset League championship and set a school record for best winning percentage and longest winning streak. Berger was named 1st Team all-league as a senior before transferring to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where he was a practice player.

Berger earned his Master’s degree from National University in 2015 and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in Teaching from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2013.

Berger, 30, is single and resides in Newport Beach.
