Long Beach Poly HS: Did not compete on the track team as a senior… Was a part of two Moore League championship teams… Specialized in the 100 meters (11.6) and 200 meters (23.1) while also running a leg of the 1600-meter relay team… Also spent two years on the football team and played on two league championship teams… Spent one year on the cross country team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was running a leg of the league championship 4x400-meter relay team as a sophomore… Would like to transfer to either San Diego State University or UCLA… Aspires to be an anesthesiologist… His father played football in high school, while his uncle played football at the University of Oregon… Hobbies include hanging out with friends, swimming and researching scientific questions… Nicknamed “Troy”… Has one brother – Amari (10)… Is the son of Jonathan and A’frica Griffin… Born in Long Beach, CA on July 29, 1995…..
