Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2017): Competed in the 1500 meters (4:46.44), 3000 meters (10:28.00) and 5000 meters (18:42.23) during the season…..

Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2017): Finished in 89th place at the South Coast Conference Championships with a time of 27:45.6, while his time of 27:08.8 put him in 144th place at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational… Came in 76th place at the Triton Classic with a clocking of 33:40.6 and posted a 251st place time of 26:44.7 at the SoCal Preview Meet… Finished in 132nd place with a time of 25:27.5 at the Fresno Invitational, while at the Redlands Invitational he posted a time of 23:23.95 to come in 57th place…..

Cal State Los Angeles: Attended Cal State Los Angeles, but did not compete in cross country…..

El Rancho HS: As a member of the track and field team, he specialized in the 800 meters (2:12.0), 1600 meters (4:57.0) and 3200 meters (10:38.0)… Recorded a personal best time of 16:38 over a three-mile course and was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior on the cross country team… Was a CIF Qualifier and received the Athlete of the Week award once… Was a member of the Honor Roll… Placed 17th at the Del Rio League Championships his junior season… Received the Most Improved Athlete Award as a freshman on the cross country team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he posted his personal best time in cross country at the Woodbridge Invitational as a sophomore and when he was able to move up three spots in the league finals to qualify for the CIF Prelims… Would like to transfer to Seattle Pacific University and aspires to be an athletic trainer… Hobbies include playing the guitar, playing basketball and music… His sister Lorena (20) is on the cross country team at the University of LaVerne, while his brother Julio (15) is on the cross country and track teams at El Rancho High… Is the son of Moises and Laura Rodriguez… Born in Los Angeles, CA on April 24, 1998…..
