Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2018): Finished in 74th place with a time of 24:13.3 at the South Coast Conference while he placed 222nd place in the Highlander Classic with a time of 30:10.0… His time of 32:21.6 put him in 37th place at the UNLV Invitational and took 209th place at the SoCal Preview Meet with a time of 23:56.7… At the Fresno Invitational, he posted a 126th place time of 25:14.3, while he finished in 156th place at the Mark Covert Open with his time of 31:12.4…..

Schurr HS: Was a member of a CIF championship and Almont League cross country championship team as a senior… Posted a personal best time in the mile (5:00), 3000 meters (10:30) and 5000 meters (17:30) as a senior on the track and field team… Spent one season on both teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he made the cross country and track and field teams… Is working on a minor in psychology… would like to transfer to Humboldt State University and aspires to be an athletic trainer… His father was on the wrestling team at Bell Gardens High… Hobbies include playing video games… Nicknamed “Matty”… Is the son of Frank and Irene Alcaraz… Born in Baldwin Park, CA on October 4, 2000…..
