Garfield HS: Received his team’s Best Field Athlete award as a senior… Competed in the 100 meters (12.8), 200 meters (26.5), pole vault (10’ 5”), long jump (15’ 8¾’) and triple jump (33’ 11”)… Was a member of the track and field and cross country teams…..
