Cerritos College Cross Country (2019): Placed 128th at the CCCAA State Championships with a time of 22:50.8, while he checked in with a time of 23:30.4 to come in 98th place at the Southern California Championships… Turned in a 46th place time of 25:02.3 at the South Coast Conference Championships, while his time of 29:16.6 put him in 205th place at the Highlander Classic… Finished 73rd at the Brubaker Invitational in a time of 22:52.3 and was 34th at the Cerritos Invitational with his time of 22:25.25… Garnered 79th place with a time of 26:59.3 at the Coyote Challenge and earned 122nd place at the SoCal Preview Meet with a clocking of 25:04.3… At the Fresno Invitational, he posted a 106th place time of 23:19.1 and opened the season in 175th place at the Mark Covert Classic with a time of 29:55.9…..

Artesia HS: Named 1st Team All-605 League as a senior on the cross country team and recorded a personal best time of 16:38 over a three-mile course… While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 1600 meters (4:52.0) and 3200 meters (10:30.0)… Spent four seasons on the cross country, track and field and soccer teams…..

Personal: Would like to transfer to either Cal State Long Beach or Cal Lutheran University… Aspires to be a high school teacher… His brother William (29) competed in track and field and soccer in high school… Has three other siblings – Gilbert (27), David (21) and Joaquin (19)… Is the son of Alejandro and Guadalupe Alonzo… Born in La Palma, CA on October 13, 2001…..
