Cerritos Wrestling (2011): Spent the season as a red-shirt…..

Torrance HS: Was a Masters qualifier at 135 pounds as a senior after finishing third in the CIF Championships and winning the Pioneer League championship… Was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player and went 26-7 on the year… Took second place at the Rosemead Tournament, which was a two-day event… Qualified for the Masters as a junior at 130 pounds after placing fifth in the CIF Championships and winning the league title… Was their MVP that season… Was coached by former Falcon wrestler Shea Kendig…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was going on his first high school road trip… Is working on a minor in theology… His brother Jason (25), wrestled for the Falcons in 2006-07 and placed second in the state championships as a freshman after winning the Southern California Championship… Likes to play ping pong in his spare time… Has four other siblings – William (29), Daniel (25), Jessica (21) and Evan (9)… Is the son of Guillermo Castillo and Toni Cristae… Born in Torrance, CA on November 11, 1992…..
