South Torrance HS: Was a three-time CIF Qualifier and came in seventh place at 145 pounds his senior year… Posted a 33-11 record as a senior at 138 and 145 pounds and was voted his team’s Most Valuable Player… Went 20-18 as a junior at 145 pounds and 14-8 at 135 pounds as a sophomore…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was his first varsity win… Would like to transfer to UC Santa Barbara… Likes to play the guitar and go wakeboarding in his spare time… Has one brother – Joshua… Is the son of Chuck and Pauline MacLean… Born in San Pedro, CA…..
