Cerritos College Wrestling (2013): Took fourth place at 285 pounds at the state championships… Advanced to the semi-finals and was leading, 3-1 before he was pinned… Came back with a win in the consolation round, but dropped his final match to finish in fourth… Didn’t compete in his first match until the Southern California Regional Tournament, where he finished in fourth place at 285 pounds… Posted a 6-4 record on the year…

Cerritos College Football (2013): Was a unanimous 1st Team All-Northern Conference selection as the team’s starting center… Helped the offense average 32.6 points a game and amass 4,399 yards on the season…..

Cerritos College Football (2012): Saw time as a reserve on the offensive line…..

Downey HS: Garnered his school’s Athlete of the Year his senior year… As a senior on the wrestling team, he placed fifth in wrestling at the State Championships after coming in second place at the Masters Meet and CIF Championships… Was a four-time San Gabriel Valley League champion… Named 2nd Team All-CIF… Was a three-time Press Telegram  Dream Team selection… Helped his team win the Dual Meet Championship as a junior and sophomore, while he finished second at the Masters Meet after winning the CIF championship his junior year and won the league championship as a sophomore… As a football player, he was named all-league as a fullback his junior and senior years… Also received their Best Offensive Lineman and Best Defensive Lineman Award… Earned 2nd Team all-league honors as a sophomore… Spent three years on the football and wrestling teams… Also played on the lacrosse team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was having his singlet retired and being named his school’s Athlete of the Year… Aspires to be an investigator… Hobbies include wrestling… Nicknamed “Chism”… Has one sibling – Kaylee (13)… Is the son of Jaime and Maria Aburto… Born on August 20, 1994…..
