Long Beach Poly HS: Won the Moore League championship at 195 pounds as a senior and was named 3rd Team All-CIF and selected to the Press Telegram Dream Team… Took third place at the Tournament of Champions… Posted a 33-5 record on the year… Earned 1st Team all-league honors as a junior after reaching the finals of the league championships at 184 pounds… Recorded a 34-10 mark while competing at 172 and 184 pounds… Won the league championship his sophomore and freshman years… Was also a member of the basketball, soccer and football teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was being ranked in the top 15 in the state… Would like to transfer to San Francisco State University… Hobbies include working out… Has three siblings – Jessica (21), Daniel (19) and Mia (2)… Is the son of Luis and Adriana Martinez… Born in Long Beach, CA on June 9 1996…..
